We are pleased to announce that…. I am going to try to get my scrotum to play in an old Betamax player.
Nah, just joshing with you bastards, we are pleased to announce that our sister app TriYou (the beta version) is now available in both the Android and Apple Stores. Before I go any further I’d like to pose a question to you, have you ever taken ecstasy, accidentally farted, sneezed then ejaculated?
Yeah, me too.
Enough of that though. As a nice twist of fate we just received a tremendous top ten movie list from Johnny Dileretto of 90.5 FM WCBE. He knows his films and is the host of the Cinema Classics program. This is a blog about vinyl records, and I believe it is the first time posting a movie list, but since TriYou is focused on Top Ten Lists in movies, TV, books and albums I thought this would be a wonderful time to post such a great list. Here it is is his own words:
Here’s a list of movies for you to put on the app – in no particular order:
The Royal Tenenbaums
Five Easy Pieces
Do the Right Thing
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf
It’s a Wonderful Life
Out of the Past
I find this list very interesting and The Royal Tenenbaums currently owns a spot in my list and I absolutely love Raging Bull, Miller’s Crossing and Five Easy Pieces. AND as I have learned almost all these lists are an education for me. I have not seen Out of the Past or Now Voyager and apparently, I need to do so. I will put them on my shelf in the TriYou app. The only problem that I have with this list is that it doesn’t have Rocky 3, perhaps the best piece of film making of all time, full of oiled chests, feathered hair and not one jab thrown in the whole movie! Plus, it has Thunderlips, the Ultimate Male. It’s a Wonderful Life doesn’t have Thunderlips, neither does The Royal Tenenbaums for that matter—so I also have a bone to pick with myself.
We implore you to download TriYou and help us build the best community of Music, Book and Film lovers to be found anywhere.
And thanks again to Johnny for such a great list!
