Here is a shitlist for you:

  1. Hot Pockets
  2. Hole and Thumb
  3. Hairy Bathwater
  4. Shaved Toaster Backsplash
  5. Dainty Shovel Rust Fuck

I will let you guess what that is a list of, and the winner can pick from any item above for the grand prize.

Another treat for you today is you don’t have to be subjected to an album I chose.  This one comes from David Keenan who is a:

Contemporary artist. Specialized in fine art paintings , commission work available. Originals for sale . Quality prints @ link below .

Please check it out, there is some amazing art there! The image for this blog is also his work!

Mr. Keenan was gracious enough to share with us his top ten albums of all time.  I have split them up into two parts since he also shared a brief reason why he chose each album.  This is the bottom of his list—for practical purposes we will call it the Power-Bottom.

Here is what he said!

#10 The Rolling Stones – Some Girls . This seventies kind of sound while inserting a disco influence to this album is genius. It could have flopped but didn’t. Love this Stones album it just brings me back in time and Mick is just pure Mick on this you can picture him strutting around.

#9 Black Sabbath Sabotage. My #2 band . Why Sabotage? It does it from beginning to end . Could have 5 Black Sabbath albums on this list but trying to be fair.

#8 Judas Priest – British Steel . Powerful guitar works , thumping music . One atomic bomb after another. If you don’t like this album I don’t like you 😉

#7 PIXIES – Doolittle . Love alternative bands and this one makes the complete album list . Pure authentic music. Great variety on this album.

#6 AC/DC – Let there be Rock . My 3rd favorite band gets on here and choosing this one was for the same reason. It’s so complete. Raw rock and roll . Almost punk like . Garage band on steroids.

#5 The Beatles – Abbey Road. The way the songs connect to each other is so good . Certainly on many lists but very deserving. All these albums again must be heard from beginning to end .

I think we can agree this is a solid list.  I must admit I have never listened to any Judas Priest album often but that brings me to the point of this blog, and our app TriYou– coming soon.  It is all about sharing and discovering—not the kind you do in the bathtub, you perverts!

TriYou is based on Top Ten lists and creating a connection.  For instance, just from this Power Bottom, I could easily have Abbey Road in my top ten or Doolittle.  So based on that I will check out British Steel since I am mostly unfamiliar.  Also, I have not listened to a ton of Sabbath past Vol. 4, mainly because that is where my dad’s collection of Sabbath records stopped. So there are discoveries for me to make.

I also want to discover what a strict diet of Old English Malt liquor and racing horse steroids will do for my social life.

For now, let us know what you think of Mr. Keenan’s list and again check out his amazing work!

  1. Thanks again for posting my picks . Music is so important to my life. ( Not a musician either) Music fills our gaps in life. I always listen to music when I paint . And because listening to complete albums is important I subscribe to YouTube Music. It works for me. Also playing real vinyl is so satisfying

  3. I seriously love your blog.. Excellent colors & theme. Did you develop this web site yourself? Please reply back as I’m planning to create my own blog and would like to find out where you got this from or just what the theme is named. Many thanks!
